NEET 2023 Qualifying Marks

1. First of all, the applicants must be individually qualified in the physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology, and English qualifying exams of class 12 or equivalent from any recognised board in the country.

2. Candidates who belong to the general or unreserved category must get at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam of these given subjects in the 10+2 class or equivalent.

3. Students belonging to the OBC (Other Backward Classes), SC (Schedule Caste), and ST (Schedule Tribe) should have scored more than 45% marks in the qualifying exam.

4. Medical candidates with locomotor disability of lower limbs belonging to the Unreserved category, must have gotten at least a minimum of 45%. One shall note that students of the other category belonging to the locomotor disability must have gotten at least 40% marks in the qualifying exam.

NEET Eligibility Criteria for NRIs/Foreign Citizens

Foreign aspirants, NRIs (Non-Residential Indians), PIOs (Persons of Indian Origin), and OCIs (Overseas Citizens of India) who want to appear in the NEET examination must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent in their respective countries.

The candidates must have passed the 10+2 class or the equivalent of having the following subjects. The subjects which the students are required to have passed are Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and English.
